TO OUR MOTHERS
Just once a year
’Tis made quite clear
We’re called to honor “Mother”.
Give a special thought
Which can’t be bought,
Show love for one another.
She’s more than a wife.
Man’s mate through life,
A selfless demonstration.
Her hours and days
In countless ways
Fill loving dedication.
Her family comes first
Of course that’s known,
Her time for others measured.
Her service to the needs of youth
Should indeed be treasured.
All peoples have a job to fill
On God’s good earth that’s true,
But Mother has a special place.
Give praise to her – please do.
