What a beautiful day! Some days I find it’s so easy to glide through my morning rituals and set powerful intentions for the day, and sometimes it’s not.
Today started out as one of those “not so easy” days, and then…
Poof! it switched to a day full of exciting possibilities.
Magic? Not really.
Awareness. Routine. Consciousness. Practice. Yes!
And, a plan — a roadmap. What I love to call my “Infinite Possibilities Plan”.
Much of my roadmap this month is being drawn by my commitment to Art Every Day Month (AEDM).
And that’s a good thing.
Since I’ve committed to “creating every day” and to share the experience I already know what the main topic of most of my communication (aka marketing material) is going to be about.
So, when I look at my marketing task list, and I see that I have “write a blog post”, “update Social Media” and “interact w/ online communities”, I know that with the completion of one creative piece, I now have content for all three tasks. Multi-tasking at it’s best.
And the posts don’t have to be 500+ words either. The content is simply – “Here’s my update!”.
And suddenly, my “not so easy” day, turns into an effortless one.
Of course, it really helps that I love honoring my creative energy to participate in AEDM.
There’s no question that I feel lighter, refreshed and renewed every time I complete even the simplest doodle or a friendship bracelet made of PLARN (plastic bag yarn.)
So, how does this all tie to authentic marketing for my business?
I am a creativity coach. I support women who know in their hearts that they have been leaving part of their creative spirit behind— that “right-brain”, airy-fairy part, wanna-be flower child part– as they struggle to make their businesses fit into a model that is orderly and tight and perfect for an accountant or an engineer.
So, when I share with you stories about how participating in simple, creative processes brings me joy and helps me to get clarity around my business strategies, I am highlighting the successes you can achieve through working with me.
Here’s what I know for sure:
If you are an entrepreneur you can create your business any way you want to! The only rules you have to live by are your own!
When you allow your creative self to become an integral part of who you are in the world and honor that by wrapping it into everything you do you will find the success you’ve been seeking.
My clients tell me that I have a unique ability to see through all the chaos, help you identify the baby steps to take that have the most impact on how you feel, and connect you to that “thing” that makes you come alive.
That’s the magic. When you get clear about that– when you connect to what truly matters for you — then everything else aligns with effortless intention.
